This 10K totally flat route is perfect for training in a natural and peaceful environment that combines dirt tracks and paved paths or streets. If you like to measure your performance against others, join the 365×24 ranking offered through the Open Trail Races app. With this app, completely free, you can also navigate the route if you don’t have a GPS device.

We’ll start from the parking area in front of the Town Hall and head towards Balada. Once we’ve crossed the road, we’ll immediately take the Ebro river walk, which is easy to follow as it is flanked by fences on both sides. The Ebro acts as a dividing line between the Tarragona regions of Baix Ebre and Montsià. We’ll continue along the river walk towards the delta and soon reach the boarding area of Sant Jaume d’Enveja. We’ll keep enjoying the peace along the river for another 4.5 km until we reach the Illa del Riu farm, where we’ll turn right and after passing Mas del Riu, we’ll turn right again to head back. We’ll briefly touch the Canal de la Dreta de l’Ebre and continue along Camí dels Muntells until reaching Avinguda Catalunya, which we’ll follow back to the Town Hall.

This route is completely suitable for cycling and can be done calmly with the family, enjoying a pleasant walk that skirts the Ebro and the crop fields.

Note: If we encounter a road stretch, we will always walk on the left and with great caution. Special attention should be paid when crossing a road.
