What cookies are
Cookies are small files that a website stores in your browser to remember information about your visit. Some are needed for the site to work and others are used to measure, personalise or show advertising.
Which cookies we use
This website does not set any first-party or third-party cookies, whether for analytics or advertising. That is why we do not show you a banner asking you to accept them.
To count visits we use a statistics tool installed on our own server that works without cookies and without identifying anyone. Fonts and videos are also hosted on our server. The interactive map on each route page is loaded from OpenTopoMap’s servers, which receive your browser’s IP address in order to send you the map and do not set cookies.
Your browser only stores, on your device, the last sport you chose in the route filter, so that it is the same when you come back. It is not sent anywhere.
Links to other services
If you follow a link to another site, for example to Google Maps to get to the start or to Open Trail Races, that site may use its own cookies, governed by its own policy.
Changes
If we ever add a cookie that requires your consent, we will update this page and ask for your permission before setting it.
