Max. height: 380 m

This is a route that will take us to discover the territory closest to Terrades and its characteristic vegetation. The views from the top of the Serra de la Quella (also known as Serra de la Cloella) are excellent. An ideal route to start trail running and GPS orientation. Without any technical difficulty, it will allow us to run its entire route in a distance and type of terrain that will adapt to a wide variety of training. It is also a very good route to take an excursion with the family.
We will leave the health park heading west to turn 150 m later heading north. We will continue to the right until we almost reach the road, where we will find a path on the left that we will not leave until we almost reach Sant Llorenç de la Muga. It will be a false flat of 3 km uphill parallel to the road that connects Terrades with Sant Llorenç de la Muga and will end up gently descending for just over a km. Upon reaching the wide track, we will begin to turn sharply to the left to face the climb to the Serra de la Quella. Here it is going to be time to adjust the rhythm and calculate that an 800 meter climb is coming, then a 500 meter flat and we will culminate with another 500 meter climb. Once up, all you have to do is go down. The four km that will begin with a quick descent along an easy and fun path that will take us to Clot de la Muntada. When we reach the bottom we will be attentive to take the path that emerges on the right and upwards, towards the electrical tower that we will see immediately. Afterwards, the path will let us see the Can Tritlleta estate on the left. Now it will be time to ascend gently to Mas Tomitxo and crossing the Torrent de la Penya three times, which usually carries water if it has rained enough, we will end up in Terrades again, entering its streets and passing over the bridge over the El Rissec stream.
